The purpose of this study is to identify the challenges of electrical engineering curriculum from the viewpoint of members of faculty board and students in order to reform and revise it. In this article the research method is practical in terms of purpose and it is also descriptive survey in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of this study was faculty board of members (22persons) and all students of Electrical Engineering of University of Urmia. The faculty boards of members were selected as sample and 164 students according to Morgan table by simple random method. To collect data, two researcher-made questionnaires were used. Validity and reliability of the questionnaires were confirmed by the professors and field experts. In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics methods including T-test, T-test and independent groups were used. The overall result showed that according to faculty board of members’ point of view the electrical engineering education curriculum are faced with challenges in eight out of nine dimensions including educational goals, content, learning activities, teaching strategies, location, grouping and evaluation. From the view of students, electrical engineering curriculum faces challenges in all aspects of the nine curriculums. Therefore, it can be concluded that the successful and effective application of electrical engineering curriculum addresses the challenges faced by faculty board of members and the students and the effort to resolve these challenges.

Improving students' academic performance is one of the most important goals that educational organizations are pursuing. Mathematical course is one of the major courses in engineering and affects the academic performance of students. The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of epistemological beliefs and attitude towards math on academic performance of students. The research method is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of this study was all engineering students, undergraduate students at Birjand University. The sample was 181 people based on Morgan's table, which was selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. Wheeler's epistemological beliefs (2007) and attitude toward mathematics (Arias et al, 2014) were used to collect information. Results showed Epistemological beliefs of 40% and attitude toward mathematics account for 23% of students' academic performance, and the components of epistemological beliefs explain 22% of the variance of attitude toward mathematics.. As a result, paying attention to improving the beliefs and attitudes of engineering students towards mathematical courses improves their academic performance.

The aim of training is to promote knowledge skills and changing the attitude of the trainers. Therefore, this research is done to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of specialized training courses for locomotive drivers of Iranian Railways in Razavi Khorasan province according to Kirkpatrick's Four-Level Model. This research is applied (in terms of purpose), evaluative (in terms of function) and descriptive (in terms of data gathering method). It is also a survey and linear research, which is calculated in the four levels of reaction, learning, behavior and results. The sample of this research is all the locomotive drivers participated in the courses held in the last 3 months of 2016 and the beginning 3 months of 2017 along their managers and supervisors who were 260 persons. 152 persons are selected as the sample using simple random sampling according to Krejcie-Morgan table. The results obtained from this research show the respondents' reaction to satisfactory educational courses, as their learning average from the training courses raised to 17.23 from 7.94. The change in the behavior of learners after 6 months from the training course was 4.033 and the degree of realization of organizational goals from the perspective of manager was 3.33. According to Kirkpatrick's four-level model, training courses have been considered successful and effective at all levels. It also shows that the organization has achieved its goals by implementing effective training courses.
Practical Implementation of National Quality Assurance Network for universities could be envisioned by urging everyone to conduct internal evaluation on their engineering programs. It follows a shift in engineering education paradigms and accreditation process for bachelor’s degree programs over the world in accord with universal criteria for evaluations. The common surface among modern engineering education disciplines is found to be the outcome-based approach, which tends to design, execute and evaluate the engineering modules based on outcomes rather than inputs and the process merely. Since this approach revolves about outcomes and achievements, it creates an appropriate room for all the accreditation and internal evaluation requirements to be accommodated in an adoptable way. In this mechanism, development of subject outline plays a crucial role in shaping outcome-based educational strategies. Therefore, it seems imperative to review the traditional subject outline and transform it to the fashion that becomes suitable for internal evaluation process. In this paper, the subject outline for Power System Analysis 2 is developed and, further, its potential and strategic capabilities for evaluation, monitoring and troubleshooting in educational system is studied. Based on the results found, the proposed outcome-based subject outline can cater one various learning outcome assessments, effective leverage for high level bloom’s taxonomy, and Improvement plans for upcoming semesters. At last, a linear programming model is suggested which may work as an optimal initial point to better lay out improvement plans for futuristic semesters to be prescribed in case.

Learning is one of the most important concepts that has a high priority for universities and scientific centers. The learning process of student has been affected by many variable such as individual factors such as (personality, motivation, abilities, etc.) and environmental factors such as (instructor, references, classroom conditions, etc.). The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of university textbook features on student learning with the emphasis on the role of motivation. The research is descriptive and was conducted during four semester among six educational group. The total number of 192 students from University of Zanjan (in the field of management in undergraduate level) were selected as statistical population and 162 person (by using purpose sampling) was participated in the research. Three questionnaires were used for data collection that their validity and reliability were approved. The findings show that characteristics of university textbook have significant and direct effect on student’s intrinsic motivation. Student`s intrinsic motivation has a significant and direct effect on extrinsic motivation. The effect of both intrinsic motivation and textbook characteristics on the student`s learning was significant, but the effect of extrinsic motivation on learning was not significant. The extrinsic motivation mediates the relationship between intrinsic motivation and learning.

Nowadays, the economy of developed countries depend more on knowledge production, dissemination, and utilization than everything. In these conditions, higher education institutions as the knowledge production and dissemination institutions are not considered only for education and research, and these institutions are expected to play a more active role in national and regional economic production through entrepreneurship. In fact, the purpose of the present research is representation of a model of effective indicators on developing entrepreneurial university and ranking them by DELPHI and Fuzzy techniques in universities of Mazandaran Province. Present research is an applied research in terms of purpose, and is descriptive- survey in terms of collecting data and information. Research statistical population includes the professors and academic experts that there are in incubators (growth centers) of universities of Mazandaran Province in 1394 (2015) and are selected by a purposive of judgmental method. In other hand, the Fuzzy Delphi and Fuzzy techniques are used to analyze data. The results of Fuzzy Delphi technique revealed the effects of 10 basic factors on developing entrepreneurial university, the results of Fuzzy AHP technique also showed that the vision, mission, and strategy indicator has most weight and significance in university among evaluated indicators. The indicator of structure and organizational design also gains the least rank and score.

The main purpose of this study is to identify the obstacles for commercializing the innovations and inventions of engineers and trainees in technical and vocational training organization of Iran. In this research by using experts opinions, the organizational, financial and human obstacles have been examined which are needed for technological commercialization in this organizations. The statistical populations of this research include vocational experts and innovators and inventors in this organization. Among eight identified components, administrative rules and regulations known as the most important obstacle and lake of knowledge of elites known as the least important items in commercialization process. The average value showed all of the eight components have a significant impact as an obstacle for commercialization the innovations of students and trainees of technical & vocational training organization of Iran.
