Rapid growth of information and communications technologies has removed time and space limitations in education and achieved lifelong learning. Today with growth of industries and physical distance between industries and universities it is felt that more attention should be paid to this type of learning method in scientific and engineering education. This paper represents a history of distance education as a basis for electronic education. Definitions, advantages, disadvantages of electronic learning have been mentioned and its points to engineering education and its challenges and infrastructures of this type of education such as virtual arbitraries and libraries are described. Finally, some of the universities that provide electronic learning in scientific and engineering education in Iran are presented in a table, and recommendations to enhance of engineering electronic education in Iran are noted.

Social capital is a collection of characteristics and concepts of social organization like trust, norms and networks which facilitates cooperation among members for getting common interests. The studies conducted in this field around the world often confirm positive relation between education and promotion of social capital. This research contains 15 case studies in foreign countries and 13 meta-analyses in Iran. In contrast with mutual and positive relation between social and human capital, the studies carried in Iran show that higher education system has not played a big role in the field of social capital promotion of educated people. The meta analysis of foreign and domestic studies highlights this semantic theory that in contrast with global researches, the increase of education level in Iran has negative effect on Iranian social capital. The study of these tow paradoxical trends shapes the next step of solving this unconformity and reviews the different aspects of problem during meta analysis. Finally, this study suggests six policies for filling the existing gap and promoting social capital level of university graduates.

One of the significant problems among higher educated researchers; policy makers and administrators is to consider available possibilities in higher education, how much expansion and capacity for optimal student admission among universities and higher education institutes should be accepted. In this survey, using a linear programming and also with considering three major limitations in expanding higher education, i.e finance (budget), faculty member and campus (teaching physical possibilities), optimal capacity for student admission among eight technological universities affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) are determined. Results showed that in 2005-2006 academic year, most of these universities admitted students over their acceptable capacity in different educational fields. In this research its suggested the preferring public higher education and increasing their financial and legal support. Also it is recommended that policy maker planners, decision makers & government should pay more attention to public higher education.

According to the economic theories and social sciences, control at the level of supervisors and organizational support of attempts and the abundance of endeavor’s for sharing knowledge which includes the best experiences and learned activities in organizations, could help the process of sharing the knowledge. In the past, most organizations have used the knowledge of employees only for development of their personal performance, while to-days, any organization will processing knowledge of all personnel at the level of organization, to cover the aims of organization more than before. This lead to the development of new view point of knowledge management in administration discussions of the subject fields related to it. The mentioned paradigm in knowledge management systems which has been well regarded. Controlling at the level of supervisors, it is expected to have main effect on the recurrence of personnel attempts, but unexpectedly affects their endeavor. In the past the support and protection of organization were mentioned as a factor which affected on outputs, but today, there is a notification of an effective paradigm which stimulates the economic theories in the area of knowledge and understanding. This theory emphasizes on the system behavior engineering in the way of knowledge management. In this paper we have tried to study relation between the supervisors and organizational support with endeavor’s variable and much of this attempt aims to protect the systems, and through presentation of research sample, the mentioned paradigm has been challenged

Using some agent variables, the general structure of the dynamic model of a spatial mobile robot with N flexible links and N revolute joints that is a set of 5N+6 nonlinear coupled partial differential equations along with boundary conditions, has been presented. Non-conservative forces and moments have been neglected. While being considered, the general structure of the dynamic model is not changed. The base of the robot is a six-DoF rigid body in space and each link, as an Euler-Bernoulli beam, has whole elastic spatial degrees of freedom; i.e., tension compression, torsion and two spatial bendings. The links are made from a linearly elastic isotropic material and are dynamically modeled much more accurately than that of a nonlinear 3D Euler-Bernoulli beam. That is, the elastic orientation of cross-sectional frame of each link is considerable. Moreover, when the elastic orientation of the cross-section is neglected, the dynamic model of each link remains more accurate than that of a nonlinear 3D Euler-Bernoulli beam. These findings have promoted the conventional nonlinear 2D and 3D Euler-Bernoulli beam theory within which the elastic orientation of the cross-sectional frame is actually negligible. So far, Leonhard Euler (1707-1783 A.D.) has had a significant role in beams' vibrational analysis and columns' stability. Euler-Bernoulli beam is the most rigid model for the beams within which the cross-section remains plane according to the Bernoulli's (1700-1782 A.D.) hypothesis. The deficiencies in the formulation of the nonlinear 2d and 3d Euler-Bernoulli beam theories had not been considered before in several the references. This issue has considerable engineering and educational applications.

Mines as an important sector of economy has a basic role in the supply chain of most economical sectors. The analysis of quality and quantity of labor force in mines is one of the necessary activities for efficient management. This paper describes the relationship between qualitative properties with labor wage and productivity indexes of Iran mines labor force. For this purpose, qualitative and quantitative properties of labor forces have been evaluated in the period of 1994-2003 based on the experience, education, research and development, training and skills. The quantitative properties of labor force include labor wage and labor productivity. In the next step, relationships between qualitative and quantitative have been evaluated with Eviews software based on information of 8 provinces of Iran. Results show the effects of knowledge level and labor force wage on the labor force productivity. In addition, the skill level has no effect on the mine labor force wages.

The varying conditions of the sale market and unknown factors affecting the success of candidates make decision making of issuing the distributor license an important matter for organizations. For this reason, the organizations attempt to use techniques and tools for decision making in order to enhance the process of issuing selling license. For this purpose, industrial engineering tools and techniques provide effective aids for managers to have a better work prioritization and planning. One of such techniques is the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) which is one of the multiple attribute decision making approaches. In this study, after determining the important and effective criteria, a model is proposed for the evaluation of the distribution candidates. AHP is used for evaluation of the proposed model, in which the determined criteria are classified in five categories, and then, weighted. After the computation of each criterion for the candidates, the evaluation results are derived. The proposed model is applied and validated in the Paak Dairy Company as a case study. The outcomes imply that the priorities derived from the proposed approach are based on a holistic and precise analysis. Moreover, the use of this approach and changing the decision making priorities might lead to considerable savings in cost and time consumed.
