It is believed that removing the titles of subspecialty from general title of chemical engineering would be beneficials to graduated, because they can find jobs in other area too. In entrance exam the weight of chemistry course should be reduced from a factor of 4 to 2, so the students with stronger math and physics can enter this field. A course of introduction to chemical engineering must be presented to freshmn student. Also it is suggested to pit more emphasis on math oriented software in chemical engineering. An introduction to chemical engineering literature and library search of freshmn students would be very helpful.

This is a need for most of lecturers and the higher education system of Iran. In this paper a comparison is made between the content of physics, chemistry and mathematics taught in High schools and at the junior level of chemical engineering departments in Iran. The study shows that numerous existing overlaps between the topics at these two levels curriculum are the cause of students disappointment and their academic inefficiencies. The centralized planning of curriculum is not an adequate solution considering the diversity of admitted students skill level, different level of teachers skills and poorly equipped laboratories at high school. Considering the capabilities, qualities and capacities of big universities, the permission of independent education curriculum planning is a remedy. Furthermore basic Courses contents in chemical engineering curriculum should also be prepared in coordination with high school syllabuses. The systematic review of chemical engineering curriculum, including the Humanities, Social Sciences, Basic courses, Engineering Core and Technical specialties, is part of responsibilities of High Council of Cultural Revolution s subcommittees. The heat transfer with phase change, radiations, heat exchanger brief description with F-LMTD and NTU methods are among the common topics with the mechanical engineering curriculum and available in many textbooks. Indeed, the heat transfer in agitated vessels and heat transfer in fired heaters are specific to chemical engineers. For these two topics attention is paid to the unsteady heating cooling in jacketed and coiled vessels, radiative heat transfer, convective boiling and two phase flow pressure drop in pipes. The time schedule and the quiz-final exam arrangements are described

In order to achive this objective, various engineering fields of study have a multidisciplinary nature in which all the topics covering various subjects related (either explicitly or implicitly) to them are offered in their curriculums.
As the new techniques and theories emerges in various scientific and technological areas the curriculum and syllabus of engineering fields utilizing those areas should also be revised and updated in order to accommodate these enhancements and developments. Chemical Engineering like other engineering areas also requires the continuous revision and update in its curriculum. The first workshop in Chemical Engineering Education was taken place in order to fulfill this requirement. This paper summarizes all the aspects and issues corresponding to teaching of the “process control” course in the chemical engineering curriculum. Updated and revised syllabus as well as teaching and evaluating mechanisms are explained and the required courseware’s to accomplish the teaching objectives are reviewed. The main objective of various Engineering field of study to develop various products and services based on recent advances in science and technology.
