The current engineering education system tries to increase professional engineering knowledge in related fields and does not consider the side effects of engineering activities which commonly impact the environment. This thinking structure, called the Newtonian paradigm is vertical thinking based on linear and sequential phenomena. In the Newtonian paradigm, the engineering education program is developed on the basis of maximum usage of available environmental opportunities and control of natural events. In time, the undesirable effects of this engineering paradigm on the environment become visible and also some signs of un-sustainability in engineering systems appear to make some problems in the long time performance of these systems. These impacts force the engineering education system to develop engineering knowledge and pay more attention to the environment. The holistic paradigm has been developed in response to these requirements. The holistic paradigm is based on parallel and non-linear phenomena. In this paradigm in addition to increasing professional knowledge, engineers are made familiar with the interactions between engineering activities and the environment. This way the maximum profit will be obtained from available opportunities and also the engineering activity impacts are minimized. In this paper the paradigm shift trend and its future vision in engineering education and its effects on the development of engineering systems as well as environment are discussed.}, keywords = {Engineering education,Environment,Holistic (Ecological) paradigm,Newtonian paradigm}, title_fa = {آموزش مهندسی با نگاه به محیط زیست: توسعه هرم فکری هالیستیک (اکولوژیکی)}, abstract_fa = { تربیت مهندسان آگاه به چالشهای امروز، فرصتهای آینده و دانش روز نقش بسیار مهمی در توسعه اقتصادی و اجتماعی جوامع مختلف ایفا می‌کند. ساختار فعلی آموزش مهندسی سعی دارد تا هر چه بیشتر اطلاعات مهندسان در زمینه‌های تخصصی مربوط افزایش یابد و متأسفانه، جوانب فعالیتهای آنها که عمدتاً محیط‌ زیست را تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد، مورد غفلت قرار گرفته است. این ساختار فکری که معمولاً از آن با عنوان رویکرد نیوتنی (مکانیسمی) یاد می‌شود، تفکری عمودی مبتنی بر فرایندهای پشت‌سرهم و خطی است که در آن برنامه‌های آموزشی مهندسان به منظور استفاده هر چه بیشتر از امکانات طبیعی موجود در محیط اطراف خود و نیز کنترل طبیعت تدوین شده‌اند. با گذشت زمان و آشکار شدن اثرهای نامطلوب این نگرش مهندسی بر وضعیت محیط‌ زیست و همچنین، مشاهده علایم عدم تعادل در نظامهای مهندسی که عملاً کاربری آنها را در طول زمان با مشکل مواجه می‌ساخت، لزوم تغییر نگرش در توسعه دانش مهندسی و توجه بیشتر به محیط‌ زیست آشکار شد. بر این مبنا رویکرد فکری هالیستیک (اکولوژیکی) که تفکری افقی مبتنی بر فرایندهای موازی و غیرخطی است، در آموزش مهندسی مطرح شده است. در این رویکرد در کنار توسعه دانش مهندسان در زمینه‌های تخصصی سعی می‌شود تا مهندسان با اندرکنشهای فرایندها و طرحهای مهندسی و محیط ‌زیست آشنا شوند. بدین ترتیب، می‌توان از امکانات موجود بیشترین استفاده را کرد و در کنار آن آثار نامطلوب فعالیتهای مهندسی را به حداقل مقدار ممکن کاهش داد. در این مقاله روند تغییر رویکرد فکری در آموزش مهندسی و آثار آن بر توسعه نظامهای مهندسی و محیط‌ زیست و چشم‌انداز تکاملی آن بررسی شده است.}, keywords_fa = {آموزش مهندسی,محیط زیست,رویکرد هالیستیک (اکولوژیکی),رویکرد نیوتنی}, url = {https://ijee.ias.ac.ir/article_641.html}, eprint = {https://ijee.ias.ac.ir/article_641_f80a25b38e354797ca73c837d385566e.pdf} }
