Philosophy and Discipline of mat. Eng. Edu. and Students Abilities
Although Materials Engineering is quite inherent to basic science, but is generally studied under Engineering regulations, so it goal, philosophy and ethic(world care) should be defined for engineering applications.
Student acceptence standards is based to recognize left and right minded abilities to cover as scientific, technological and Engineering needs.

A Model for Engineering Education of Metallurgy in Iran
At present there are several engineering faculties in Iran educating student for metallurgical and materials engineering industries. Due to especial needs for our materials based industries in Iran. It is emphasis that this faculties should be divided in 3 educational fields for education of technologist, metallurgy engineer, materials scientist. Since our material based industries are more concern with metallurgy a mod E1 for education of this field is suggested.

Professional Purposes of Matrial Engineering Education
This study considers Material and Metallurgical Engineering as educational discipline which has clear Professional purposes. According to the available information over 60% out of the sum of 130000 educated students of this discipline (metallurgy and ceramics) are occupied directly or indirectly in industry. The information presented in this paper could also be used for industrial and presented in this paper could also be used for industrial and educational planning.

Element of Traditional Training an Optimum Model for Engineering Education
Traditional training which also is called (Foreman-Peupite) is the eldest training systems in the world.
Although this system, can not be used as a modern engineering education but it has several factors which could be modified for engineering education and training factor such as occupational goals, on job Training and how a turnyman to be come a foman. The paper is dealt with districts and advantages of this system which should be or not modified.

Metals Technology in Ancient Iran
The discovery and use of metals has been the most important achievement in human history. Metals are the principal raw material for production of tools and engineering equipment and their discovery contributed enormously to advancements in human civilization.
A part from gold and silver, which were more or less ornamental. Tin, copper, lead and iron were the first industrial materials to be discovered and used extensively. Written evidences in Persian Literature indicate that thousands of years ago people in this country were able to extract pure metals from minerals, melt the metals and produce castings, deform metals, mix metals together and produce alloys. They were also familiar with heat treatment of steel, coating of metals with gold and silver tin, Welding and brazing techniques.
