Nowadayes, admission in engineering fields does not guarantee the job for graduates and finding appropriate job is the main issue for all graduates especially chemical engineers. Chemical engineering students in Iran needs more skills than usual education programs presented by faculties. It seems, it seems that wide range of industry and the distance between industries requirements and academic educations are the substantial reasons for student's unfamiliarity with job fields. In this article, first, the job divisions for chemical engineers in Iran market is listed, then, employment possibilities in engineering consultant companies, Design projects and building industrial complexes are reviewed in detail. Considering the process need of project design, the role of chemical engineers and it`s required skills have been counted while providing some suggestion in every section regarding primary educations in engineering faculties. Providing such suggestions will increase the student's recognition of employment possibilities in industry of this country so that they can choose the job field consciously. Also these additional courses will direct the students personal efforts in order to find their ideal job.

Determining the exact level of environmental knowledge of engineering courses is important because of their importance in their job prospects and engagement in environmental activities. In this research, the environmental knowledge of engineering students at Sahand University of Technology of Tabriz has been evaluated. In this regard, statistical survey of 360 university students was conducted using stratified sampling method from 3 university engineering faculties in undergraduate, senior and Ph.D. sections by gender. The evaluation was performed using a standard questionnaire and the obtained data was processed using Excel software. The results showed that 44.5% of the students lacked an appropriate level of environmental knowledge. Meanwhile, only 10 percent of the students reported that the university's performance was good about raising the student's environmental knowledge. 32.4% of the students acknowledged that the promotion of environmental knowledge of the students was of great importance. According to the results, 17% of students are willing to take an environmental education course. The results showed that despite of improving the students' educational level, the level of environmental knowledge of students does not change much, which could be a warning to university officials in order to take steps to improve the University's performance in raising of the students' environmental knowledge, which today is one of the fundamental issues discussed in the industrial era.

The perfect control of the process variables has been always a critical issue in most process industries and among the engineers. In this article different aspects of “Process Control” education in Iranian universities has been studied and analyzed to recognize the current situation and to evaluate the educational quality of this field. Based on the advanced educational mechanisms, which are being used in the developed countries, a practical roadmap has been proposed. This will improve the “Process Control Educational Level” in Iran’s academies in shortest period of time. It will enhance the level of several impressive factors like the laboratory experiments, simulation environment and preparation of graduation for involvement into sensitive process industries and enhancement of industries acceptance level or their expertise. By implementing the proposed strategy, vital national industries such as oil, gas and petrochemical complexes as well as most power plants can be easily equipped by knowledgeable experts in a few years. Consequently, several valuable targets such as increasing the plant efficiency, improving the quality of the final products, reducing the environmental pollutants and also reducing the energy consumption can be successfully pursued.

The purpose of this research is to identify the factors of improving the quality of education in Technical & Vocational University and to study the research approach of articles in the field of technical and vocational higher education. Methodology: Qualitative content analysis and documentary analysis. The statistical population of the research includes research articles related to the quality of education in the field of technical and vocational higher education. 17 articles (9 articles of Farsi and 7 foreign articles) from 2007 to 2017 were selected by targeted sampling method. And the data were analyzed by open and axial coding. 106 concepts related to the factors affecting the quality of education at the Technical & Vocational University were identified, then they were classified by merging of similar and common concepts in 29 sub categories .Also, the study of the methodology of the articles showed that the approach of majority of researches in the field of technical and vocational higher education in Iran are of a quantitative type and most of the data collected by questionnaire; on the other hand, the main approach in foreign studies is of a qualitative type and the data collected by interview. In general, although the need for qualitative and combinatory research is felt by technical and vocational higher education, the results of this study showed that less than 23% of the researches in the field of technical and vocational higher education of Iran, have been applied with qualitative and combinatory approach.
Having sufficient technical knowledge and the ability to use it creatively, architects can better interact with structural, electrical and mechanical engineers in the professional work environment in addition to designing optimal architectural projects. To achieve such conditions, some scheme are proposed in regard to the review of curriculums and teaching methods of technical courses in architecture; so that students can acquire the theoretical knowledge of technical courses in learning process and represent it through their design abilities. This paper mainly aims to provide students with an efficient content and methodology for teaching students about mechanical utilities and services. This study is an applied research based on survey, which is carried out through library research and questionnaire. Questions of the questionnaire are according to the educational psychology educational theories. It is associated with attitudes and teaching-learning approaches of humanism and constructivism, active learning, an overview of existing conditions of architectural education in the three of the world’s top universities and a proposed teaching tool based on the augmented reality technology. Finally, a survey of suggested approaches regarding the content, teaching methods and proposed supplementary teaching tool is conducted among faculty members who have professional experience of interaction among architects. This indicates the emphasis on dedicating a part of the course to practical works. Linking the course with architectural design workshops in different semesters and the acceptance of the proposed supplementary teaching tool due to giving the learner an active role, increasing the accuracy and focus of the learner, enhancing the spatial visualization of components and paths and knowing the ultimate effects on architectural form.
The Dār-ol-Fonoun (Polytechnic) School of Tehran founded by Amirkabir in the Qajar Period along the European scientific progress, with the aim of teaching engineering, technical, military and medical sciences and promoting the level of the Iranian youth. A major step in advancing the goals of the engineering education in Iran was taken by recruitment of the European teachers in the various engineering fields. The engineering education at Dār-ol-Fonoun School needed to compile the academic books and scientific resources which was conducted by teachers and graduates of the School. The “Ma’dan-Shenasi” (Mineralogy) is one of the college books that was supposedly written by Dr. Johan Louis Schlimmer (1818-1880). He was one of the masters of the Dār-ol-Fonoun School. Three copies of this book are available in the Melli, Malek and Ayatollah Marashi libraries of Iran. In this research, this scientific work has been introduced and the various dimensions of this book have been examined. The research method has been a library study and all of the scientific sources and historical documents have been used. This book is based on De Re Metallica and De la Pirotechnia books which are considered to be the most significant in scientific and technical mining in Europe, written in the 16th century. In other hand, reviewing the old academic books shows the evolution and development of engineering education. Also, it can be useful for the purposes of university education and complete the historiography of the mining science education in Iran.
