Abstract

The cooperation between industry and university is an important issue in every country. Many researchers work on models of industry-university cooperation were presented and the model of "Betz" which is developed in 1987 has been widely used is discussed. This article analyzes the application of this model in China and Korea based on a field research. Regarding such appropriate result of this study, we have tried to apply this model for Iran as well. This model was practiced in some industry – university research projects and successful outcome were obtained. The article at the end, reviews one of these successful industry-university researches in more details.
