Rural architecture is a unique range of remedies to use potentials of natural environment and to comply with material and spiritual needs of rural areas. A deep view to this architecture and understanding aesthetics of rural thoughts and use of the finding in residents design are goals of education in rural 1 and rural 2 courses of architecture education in Iran. With respect to rural population and their place in, the High Council of Educational planning increases this course from two-credit course to three-credit course. This article revise the need of rural education in faculties of architecture and follows a method of education in two courses, rural 1 and rural 2. This proposed method is the consequence of experiences of these courses in architecture and urbanism faculties of Tehran Art University.
