Abstract
Current research wants to survey on the rate of collaboration among engineers and scholars that presented their papers of the International Conference of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology in Iran during 1991-2011. The main aim of current research is the identification of the scholars that have the most collaboration together and determination of the number of individual and group articles in each conference. This research is a descriptive study and the required data were obtained from the proceedings that were published by the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology. All data were analyzed by Excel Software. Findings indicated that 1628 articles were presented during 1991-2011 in ICEES. In 2011, scientists presented the most articles. 567 articles were produced in this year. Findings revealed that Iranian scholars had 122 individual and 772 group articles in the International Conferences on Earthquake Engineering and Seismology. The Current research indicated that from 1991 that the first ICEES was established until 2011, Iranian have the most collaboration. There was no collaboration among Iranian and foreign engineers in 1991 and 2011, but it can be seen that Iran had most collaboration with other countries in 1995, 1999, 2007 and 2011.
