[English]

E-learning and its influence in the higher education system has increased dramatically in the world with the outbreak of Covid-19 disease and has changed the method of conventional education in an unbelievable way. In Iran, as in other countries of the world, from the beginning of the epidemic, face-to-face education has changed to e-learning in all educational centers. One of the problems and challenges of e-learning is to ensure the proper academic progress of students and how to evaluate students in this method of education. In this study, while briefly referring to the common methods in assessing student academic achievement, several different examples of feedback evaluation have been introduced and the importance of this method of assessment in helping student academic achievement has been investigated and its important achievements have been pointed out. In this method of assessment, in addition to the possibility of examining student’s academic achievement, it also provides significant assistance to students’ academic achievement during assessment. In this regard, this test method has been implemented and analyzed in some undergraduate courses of the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The opinion of some students of the mentioned courses has also been given and examined.
