چکیده

 در آموزش علوم و آموزش مهندسی، به عنوان حوزه‌های جدیدی که زمان زیادی از شکل‌گیری و تکوین آنها نمی‌گذرد، عموماً از رویکردها و شیوه‌های پژوهشی یکسانی استفاده می¬شود. موضوع اصلی این دو قلمرو؛ یعنی «آموزش» که به مقوله یاددهی و یادگیری علوم پایه و علوم مهندسی می‌پردازد، باعث شده است تا اشتراکات زیادی در روندهای پژوهش رشته‌های مذکور وجود داشته باشد. از سوی دیگر، قرابت در ماهیت و محتوای علمی علوم پایه و علوم مهندسی زمینه‌ساز نزدیکی بیشتر این حوزه‌ها در روشهای برنامه¬ریزی درسی، آموزش و ارزشیابی شده است. همه این موضوعات به همراه زیر مجموعه‌های آنها زمینه‌های تحقیق مناسبی را برای پژوهشگران این حوزه‌های جدید علمی فراهم آورده است. در این مقاله با بررسی شیوه‌های کلی پژوهش در آموزش، به معرفی، تحلیل و تبیین نقاط قوت و ضعف هر یک از رویکردهای به‌کار رفته در تحقیقات مربوط به این قلمروهای علمی در آموزش عالی پرداخته ‌شده است.

چکیده [English]

 Science education and engineering education as recently established fields employ the same approaches and methods in research. The main theme of these two fields, “education”, which deals with teaching and learning in science and engineering sciences, has led to many similarities in the research approaches of the two fields. Besides, the closeness of nature and scientific content of science and engineering science makes the two fields closer to each other regarding curriculum development, instruction and evaluation methods. All of these provide a lot of areas for researchers in these new fields. In this paper, first we examine general research methods in education and then we define, analyze and explain the strengths and weaknesses of the research methods employed in researches of these fields in higher education
