یک دهه پژوهش، با کرسی یونسکو در آموزش مهندسی

چکیده
نزدیک به نود سال از آغاز آموزش نوین دانشگاهی در ایران می‌گذرد. در این مدت، آموزش مهندسی در کشور، در کنار گسترش کمّی زیاد، فراز و فرودهای چندی را پشت‌ سر گذارده است. اعتلای آموزش مهندسی در گرو شناسایی چالش‌های آن و ارائه راهکارهایی برای غلبه بر آنهاست و این امری است که تنها با پژوهش‌های سامان‌یافته، امکان‌پذیر است. یکی از اقدامات متصور در این زمینه، ایجاد مرکزی برای ارتباط بین فعالیت‌های صورت‌گرفته در آموزش مهندسی کشور و مراکز آموزشی دیگر کشورها و سازمان‌های بین‌المللی است. دراین‌ارتباط، به دنبال تصویب سازمان علمی، تربیتی و فرهنگی ملل متحد (یونسکو)، کرسی یونسکو در آموزش مهندسی در سال 1393 دانشگاه تهران تأسیس گردید. کرسی یونسکو، به ‌عنوان یک اتاق فکر، پژوهش و آینده‌پژوهشی در زمینه‌های مختلف آموزش مهندسی را سرلوحۀ اهداف خود قرار داده است. در این مقاله، ضمن معرفی اهداف و دامنه فعالیت‌های کرسی یونسکو در آموزش مهندسی، دستاوردهای یک دهه فعالیت‌های آموزشی و پژوهشی این کرسی، مرور شده است.

A DECADE OF RESEARCH WITH “UNESCO CHAIR ON ENGINEERING EDUCATION”

چکیده English

 Nearly ninety years have passed since the beginning of modern higher education in Iran. During this period, engineering education in the country, along with a large quantitative expansion, has gone through many ups and downs. Improving engineering education depends on identifying its challenges and providing solutions to overcome them. And this is possible only with organized research. One of the envisaged measures in this field is to create a center for communication between the activities carried out in the engineering education of the country and the educational centers of other countries and international organizations. In this connection, following the approval of the United Nations Scientific, Educational and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the UNESCO Chair on Engineering Education was established at the University of Tehran. The UNESCO chair, as a think tank, has put research and futures studies in various fields of engineering education, at the top of its goals. In this paper, while introducing the objectives and scope of activities of the UNESCO Chair on Engineering Education, the achievements of a decade of its activities have been reviewed.
