چکیده
محیط Client-Server (C-S) توسعه زیادی در آزمایش عملکرد درخواست‌های وب داشته است. در این مقاله درباره گسترش این درخواست در زمینه آزمایش و تحقیقات به عنوان یک آزمایشگاه شبکه ای مجازی (VNL) بحث شده است. VNL در ارتباط‌های اینترنتی LAN عمل می‌کند و می‌تواند اهداف خاصی را تحت کنترل از راه دور (Remote Control) برآورده سازد. در این مقاله لایه‌های مختلف در VNL توصیف شده است، مانند درخواست‌هایی مربوط به کنترل از راه دور که در قسمت Client انجام می‌شود. در این مقاله همچنین، توسعه و گسترش VNL برای مقاصد آموزشی و نیز دیگر کاربردهای آموزشی و تحقیقاتی مانند توصیف این روش در تکنولوژی آموزشی جامعه، نحوه انجام دادن با جزئیات این روش و به ویژه تأمین یک آزمایشگاه قابل دسترسی از راه دور از طریق شبکه On-line بررسی و به نتیجه گیری‌هایی در زمینه کاربردهای دیگر این روش پرداخته شده است.

چکیده [English]
A client-server environment has been developed for testing performance of web applications. This article discusses extending its applicability to instruction and research as a virtual networking laboratory (VNL). The VNL operates in an Internet-connected LAN environment and can perform operations of arbitrary scope under control of remote users. A multi-layered abstraction model of the VNL is described, wherein the client-side test application performs functions related to remote-controlled testing and experimentation. The paper also elaborates on the development of a VNL for instructional purposes, and describes other possible uses in research and education.
