[English]

Knowledge management today has disrupted many traditional world equations and revolutionized human resource management processes. Along with the introduction of new jobs, knowledge management has also changed the dominance and potential of employability. The link between knowledge management and employment is important because youth employment, especially for the educated, is one of the most important issues and concerns of today’s societies. Therefore, this study was designed and conducted to analyze the role of personal knowledge management on the employability of graduate students in engineering. This study is an applied in terms of purpose and multivariate correlational designs in terms of data collection and analysis. The statistical population of the study consists of postgraduate students (Masters and PhD) in technical and engineering fields of Bu Ali Sina University. The sample size of the study was calculated using Cochran sampling formula and 281 people were selected by random sampling. Data gathering tools are individual knowledge management questionnaires and employability. The findings showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between personal knowledge management and students’ employability. Structural equation test results using Lisrel software showed that individual knowledge management variables had a significant effect on the variables of employability. The results also showed that there is a significant relationship between knowledge management and employability variables and age, gender and variables.
